Douglas Deuchler is a local historian and theater critic for the newspaper, The Wednesday Journal. He serves on the boards of both the Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest, and the Friends of Oak Park Public Library. He is also a docent for both the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, and Pleasant Home in Oak Park.
